Facility Environmental Module — Higg FEM

What is it?

Higg FEM (Facility Environmental Module) measures a facility’s environmental impact — water, energy, greenhouse gas, waste, chemistry, air emissions and wastewater — and is then independently verified. It is developed by Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition) and run on the Worldly platform.

What it covers

A verified FEM shows the facility’s declared environmental data has been confirmed by a third party. Fersan’s certificate covers the 2024 assessment.

Why it matters

It lets brands compare supplier environmental performance on a common scale and reduces the burden of separate audits.
